Please review the following information before registering online:

New Players
If your child is new to HCLL they must reside or attend a school within the HCLL league boundaries. Before registering, please confirm that your child is eligible to play at Hastings Community Little League by looking at the League Boundaries page.

All new players to Hastings Community Little League should register online first and we will follow up with you regarding the following: 

  1. Proof of Age - Birth certificate or passport;
  2. Proof of Home Address - Utility, cable or telephone bill, insurance records, driver's license, etc.;
  3. Proof of School Attended - If a player is basing his/her eligibility on attending a school within HCLL's league boundaries, then a completed school enrolment form must be presented for each season played. Please download the form here: School Enrolment Form.

Players Requiring KidSport Assistance
KidsSport is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to eligible families in order to register for amateur sports such as baseball.

Players requiring KidsSport financial assistance must register at an 'In-Person' Registration listed above along with a completed and signed Kidsport Application form (links to forms below).

Please note: If applying for KidSport assistance and your child is new to HCLL, then you must still provide the required documents as described above under "New Players".

Returning Players Now Living Outside of HCLL Boundaries
Returning players who have moved and live outside the geographic boundaries for HCLL are eligible to remain at HCLL if you can provide the following:

  1. Three (3) pieces of identification to show proof of that your previous home address was within HCLL's geographic boundaries;
  2. Proof your son or daughter's current school address is within HCLL's geographic boundaries by submitting a Little League School Enrolment Form.

It is mandatory that documentation be provided in order to play Hastings Community Little League.

Little League Age Rules
Little League Baseball uses an Age Determination Date of August 31.

Forms of Payment
You may pay online by CREDIT CARD only. For payment by e-transfer, choose "CHEQUE" and send payment to info@hcll.ca within 48 hours of your registration for it to be confirmed. We will be in touch with you to confirm your payment was received. 

Refund Policy
Hastings Community Little League understands that plans and family schedules can change. If you need to cancel your registration we will refund your money but must charge a processing fee due to costs that we incur from online transactions and administration. 

  • $25.00 non-refundable fee for any player that withdraws before evaluations are conducted for their division or, in the case of Junior T-Ball and Tee-Ball, before their teams are formed.
  • $75.00 non-refundable fee for any player that withdraws after evaluations have taken place for the Rookie, Minor or Major Divisions.*
  • No refund will be issued after a player has been assigned to a team and participates in a game(s). Team assignments happen in March.

*If a player must withdraw due to a medical reason HCLL will charge a pro-rated amount (less the non-refundable fee) based on when the illness/injury occurred within the season. A medical note will be required.

Registration Notes

  • First choices for two Emergency Contacts provided should be parents or legal guardians of the player. Emergency Contact #1 must be a parent or legal guardian of the player.

  • All players in T-Ball, Rookie, Minor, and Major Divisions will receive a team jersey, baseball cap, and socks.  Jr. T-Ball players receive a team jersey and hat only. Players should provide their own glove, helmet, jock/jill, cleats. Personal bats are encouraged but we will have team bats available.
