
BEFORE YOU REGISTER
NEW PLAYERS
If your child is new to HCLL they must reside or attend a school within the HCLL league boundaries. Before registering, please confirm that your child is eligible to play at Hastings Community Little League by looking at the League Boundaries page.

All new players to Hastings Community Little League should register online first and we will follow up with you regarding the following:

Proof of Age - Birth certificate or passport

Proof of Home Address - Utility, cable or telephone bill, insurance records, driver's license, etc.

Proof of School Attended - If a player is basing eligibility on attending a school within HCLL's league boundaries, then a completed school enrolment form must be presented for each season played.
PLAYERS NEEDING KIDSPORT ASSISTANCE
KidsSport is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to eligible families in order to register for amateur sports such as baseball.

Players requiring KidsSport financial assistance must register at an 'In-Person' Registration along with a completed and signed Kidsport Application form.

If applying for KidSport assistance and your child is new to HCLL, then you must still provide the required documents as described above under "New Players".
RETURNING PLAYERS NOW LIVING OUTSIDE HCLL BOUNDARIES
Returning players who have moved and live outside the geographic boundaries for HCLL are eligible to remain at HCLL if you can provide the following:

Three (3) pieces of identification to show proof that your previous home address was within HCLL's geographic boundaries

Proof your child's current school address is within HCLL's geographic boundaries by submitting a Little League School Enrolment Form

It is mandatory that documentation be provided in order to play Hastings Community Little League.
2026 LITTLE LEAGUE AGE CHART
Little League Baseball uses an Age Determination Date of August 31.
To determine your child's Little League Age, please refer to the 2026 Little League Age Chart below.

Personal bats are encouraged but we will have team bats available
FORMS OF PAYMENT
Online payments are accepted by credit card only.
To pay by e-transfer, please select “CHEQUE” during registration and send your payment to info@hcll.ca within 48 hours to confirm your registration. We will contact you once your payment has been received.
REFUND POLICY
Hastings Community Little League understands that plans and family schedules can change. If you need to cancel your registration, we will refund your payment; however, a processing fee will be charged to cover the costs associated with online transactions and administration.

$25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE
for any player that withdraws before evaluations are conducted for their division or, in the case of Junior T-Ball and T-Ball, before their teams are formed.

$75.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE
for any player that withdraws after evaluations have taken place for Rookie, Minor and Major, or in the case of Junior T-Ball and T-Ball, once teams are formed.​

NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED
after a player has been assigned to a team and participates in a game(s).
Team assignments happen in March.

MEDICAL EXCEPTIONS
If a player must withdraw due to a medical reason, HCLL will charge a pro-rated amount (less the non-refundable fee) based on when the illness/injury occurred within the season. Please note that a medical note will be required.

First choices for two Emergency Contacts provided should be parents or legal guardians of the player. Emergency Contact #1 must be a parent or legal guardian of the player.
