ABOUT HCLL

Dear Hastings Baseball Families,

I would like to give a warm welcome to new and returning families who are joining our 2026 Little League Season. I am Mike Maierle, and after many years of involvement with HCLL with my four son's, I am excited to start the 2026 season as President at Hastings Community Little League, for the second year. 

​

Since 1953, our league has focused on providing an inclusive, safe, affordable, and fun baseball experience for Little League eligible children of all skills. I would like to thank everyone involved, as well as our sponsors for their continued support of Hastings Baseball. 

​

As many of you already know, HCLL operates with a player assessment program for the Rookie, Minor and Major Divisions. The Board of Directors has worked hard over the last couple of months to make updates to the existing processes, in order to have a fair, successful and fun season for the children and families in our community. 

​

Little League is an experience that is meant to bring families together with other families, so I would like to encourage everyone to become involved. If you are interested in volunteering with the league, please contact us at info@hcll.ca

On behalf of the HCLL Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for registering your child to play baseball with us at Hastings. With the help and support from our community, sponsors, and parents we will continue to dedicate our time to this league to help make it a memorable fun experience for all the players.
